Brad Dalke - Verbal Commitment to play golf for the University of Oklahoma
Junior Golf Championships 12 Year-Old Junior Golf ParticipantOffered Scholarship by University of Oklahoma
DALLAS-Junior Golf Championships Founder and President Justin Hogue revealed today that 12 year-old junior golfer Brad Dalke will attend the University of Oklahoma on a golf scholarship.
The news came in the wake of Dalke’s competition in the U.S. Kids Junior World Golf Championships this year at Pinehurst. He finished his three rounds with 68, 68, and 68 for a six stroke victory and a World Championship!
Brad Dalke is no stranger to winning. Just in the past year he has placed first in the boy’s 10-11 year-old division at the Southwest Junior Open (July 2009) by 12 strokes; first place in the 12-13 division in Southwest Junior Championship that was determined by a playoff; and a first place finish at the Southwest Junior Open in Feb. 2010, at Barton Creek Country Club in Austin by 19 strokes.
“With this incredible talent, it’s not surprising that the University of Oklahoma has offered this young man a full golf scholarship,” says Hogue. “Brad is a well rounded individual on and off the golf course. He is a hard worker and exudes the type of golfers that is associated with the Junior Golf Championship organization. We certainly wish him well and look forward to seeing him at our Belmar Golf Club Junior Championship in Norman, Oklahoma this weekend, Aug. 14-15.”
